Indonesia President, Yudhoyono, state that conserving, preserving, and expanding the world's carbon sinks contained in the forest is an opportunity for climate change mitigation. Further, HE states that Indonesia has taken an initiative to launch a Special Leaders Meeting of Tropical Rainforest Countries to formulate a constructive proposal to strengthen the role of forest in reducing global warming.
