Places of interest in Bali include Ubud, Bangli, Batubulan, Bedugul, Besakih, Celuk, Denpasar, Goa Gajah, Goa Lawah, Jimbaran Bay, Lovina, Kintamani, Klungkung, Kuta & Legian, Mas, Menjangan Island, Nusa Dua, Peliatan, Sangeh, Sanur, Tampak Siring, Tanah Lot, Tenganan, Trunyan, Yeh Saneh, Sanur Beach.

You might also want to watch the popular traditional Balinese dances. There are Kecak, Baris, Barong & Rangda, Legong, Sanghyang Trance Dances and Topeng (Mask) Dances.

While Bali has so much to see, you might also want to visit other parts of Indonesia. There are numerous domestic flight routes from Denpasar, and regular passenger ferries to Java and Lombok. The service between Gilimanuk (Bali) and East Java operates 24 hours.

Here are some suggestions of places to visit:

  • LOMBOK is an island just east of Bali. It's only few minutes by flight or few hours by ferry. Lombok is more secluded than Bali with a fabulous volcano (Mt. Rinjani) and also the famous islands of Gili Meno, Gili Terawangan, and Gili Air off the western part of Lombok Island.
  • EAST JAVA - Here you can find Mt. Bromo, a volcano with magnificent panorama. You must visit and watch the sunrise there at least once in your lifetime!
